Race Preparation.
I have been in love with Motorsport for as long as I can remember, watching all forms of racing on TV from rallycross to Formula 1.
Before Redesignsport I have found myself lucky enough to have worked in Premium Motorsport environments. After being factory trained by Porsche late 1990's I found myself being asked to run a 4 car Team in the National Porsche Carrera cup Championship and selected Formula 1 Supporting Porsche Supercup series.
We scored many podiums, Race wins and at the end of the season our driver, Mark Cole had won the drivers championship and the team had also secured the championship. The next season brought a very talented Richard Westbrook to follow up that first season. again racing in the Porsche Carrera Cup and Supercup Formula 1 support, we also ventured into some international GT events.
I am also fortunate to have been involved with LMP1 prototype cars as well as Group B Rally cars such as Peugeot 205T16 and the mighty Ford RS200 .
Since forming Redesignsport in 2013 my focus has been as a freelance race engineer, helping teams and drivers to prepare and run vehicles at the highest levels of historic motorsport at circuit racing and endurance events. Specialising in models from Ferrari, Jaguar's C-E and D-type, Ford GT40, Chevron B8, Cooper F1, Lotus F1 and sports cars. Supporting Events such as Goodwood revival and Members meetings, Le Mans Classic, Peter Auto , Motor Racing Legends and Equipe classic racing series. I continue to be grateful to work with amateur drivers through to World class drivers, all enjoying success and reaching better lap times every time we go out.
More recently i have embarked on my own racing career with a 1957 Lotus 11, and at selected events i have been joining Mark Cole behind the wheel to not only build, prepare , support but also undertake driving duties.
Its one thing being able to put a great driver in a good car and put them at the front of the grid, but can you put a novice in a great car and get equally great results. I am happt to say yes we can help with that and put you at the front of the grid, at any event.
To keep things on track and to develop the cars further , i invested heavily in new technologies such as CAD Design software, 3d Scanning and 3d manufactuing. this has led to us being able to reverse engineer parts, assemblies and even complete cars, engineering out the issues from period or by previous owners. we are happy to support every area of motorsport from modern race cars, to historics, and everything else in between.

Automotive Restoration Bucks.
Over the Last 8 years we have been involved in the 3d Scanning of vehicles to help design and create bucks to help with the repair and restoration of Historic road and race cars.
This also allows us to make variations and changes of bodies to allow construction of Aluminium, Steel and composite bodies for Road And Race cars.
We have intimate knowledge and experience of working with some of the most prestigious and valuable models from such marques as Ferrari, Jaguar, AC cars, Porsche, Lotus, Mercedes-Benz and Lamborghini.
However there is no such thing here as we know it all, we love working with collectors, enthusiasts, repairers, restorers and metalworkers to find out how traditional methods of construction and manufacture can be used to keep the original feel to a project. It is seen to often where modern technology has erased original features, only to replace them with generic versions of bespoke vehicles.
