Computer Aided Design.

Ar Certified SolidWorks Experts have over a decade of experience on creating 3D CAD solid models in SolidWorks. We can produce 3D CAD models from a number of sources; you can supply us with a physical part to copy, engineering drawing or even hand sketches to work from. Once you have a 3D model, it can be used to create everything from engineering drawings to photorealistic renders. At RSL we have experience in many CAD modelling specialisms such as: Solid modelling or surface modelling of parts, assembly modelling, sheet metal flat patterns (DXF + drawings), welded design cut lists and physical prototyping for 3D print.

Surface Modelling.

Surface Modelling is an advanced modelling method that allows you how to build free-form shapes using CAD software that could not otherwise be created. It is generally considered to be a more advanced type of modelling typically requiring more experience. Our engineers have undertaken the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Surface Modelling certificate. Some examples of recent projects can be seen below.
